There is a smooth elasticity and creative improvisation to West Coast Swing and Argentine Tango Nuevo that make them more than compatible. When dancing Swango, whips flow into colgadas which flow into underarm turns which flow into ganchos, etc. I have been developing and promoting Swango as a fusion dance since 2005, holding classes and workshops in Orlando. Currently, with my teaching partner in Santa Cruz Lynne Caryl, we have been holding Tango-Swango workshops and classes since summer 2010.
